Do this before you order

Three checks, in the order we would make them ourselves.

1. Count the children first

Write down every child who will get a gift, including the cousin you only remember at the last minute. In a rush, it is easy to order for two and forget the third. A box for one niece and three boxes for cousins are different shopping lists, so settle the list before you open a single product page.

2. Check the date against the delivery window

This one matters most this year. Personalised orders are processed and delivered in 8 to 12 working days across India, as our shipping policy states. Count back from the day you need the gift. If the date is close, message us on WhatsApp before you pay, so we can tell you honestly whether it will arrive in time. We would rather say no to a late order than take your money for a gift that misses the day.

3. Spell the name the way the child writes it

The name is the whole point, so check it against how the child signs a school book. "Anaya" and "Ananya" are different girls, and the second one will notice. Spelling is the one thing you cannot fix once the order is in.

Why a box with a name beats a bigger generic gift

We would rather send a small box with a name on it than a large one that could go to any child. That is our view, and it comes from packing these boxes ourselves. A name is the thing a child looks for first.

Picture the morning after Diwali. The sweets are finished, the cousins are running around, and one child opens a box to find a bag charm with her own name on it. She clips it onto her school bag before breakfast. That is an example of the idea, not a report about any one family, and it is why we keep the names front and centre.

Tip: Give each child a box of their own, even if the boxes are the same. Nobody wants to share a name tag.
