Does the bag charm come with it?
No. Charms shown with the bag in the photographs are a separate product, styled on to give you ideas. Add one to your cart alongside the bag if you would like it, and it clips onto the zip pull in a second.
What actually fits inside?
It is 14 by 10 by 3 cm, so think travel day essentials rather than a full bag. A phone, a boarding pass, an ID card, coins, a lip balm and a small snack all go in comfortably, split across the front pocket and the main compartment.
How is it worn?
Either way. At the waist like a classic fanny pack, or slung across the chest, which is how most children end up wearing it. The strap adjusts down small and back out again, and the buckle clicks open and shut easily enough for them to do it themselves.
Is this for boys or girls?
Both. It is a name on a bag, so it suits whoever it is made for, and the colourblock works just as well on him as on her.
How many characters can I have?
Up to 8, including spaces. That covers most first names and nicknames. If the full name is longer, use the short version they are actually called by, which also sits better across the front pocket.
How long does the name last?
The name is heat pressed onto the fabric, not a sticker, and it comfortably survives 20 to 25 soft washes. What does damage it is being picked or scratched at, so keep nails and scrubbing brushes away from it and wash gently rather than machine washing.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, or hand wash it gently in cool water, then let it air dry. Keep it out of the washing machine and away from bleach and the dryer, and do not scrub over the name.
