Felt Stickers Dinosaur Play Scene Book Review: Reusable Dino Fun

Felt Stickers Dinosaur Play Scene Book review: what's inside

The book has colourful felt stickers and interactive play scenes set in the prehistoric world.

Scenes show lush jungles, volcanic landscapes and roaring waterfalls. Children arrange the felt stickers on the pages to build their own dinosaur adventures, from exploring ancient ruins to finding hidden dinosaur eggs.

The creatures

• Dinosaurs: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and more.
• Other prehistoric creatures: pterosaurs, mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers.

Why children and parents like it

It is hands-on storytelling. The felt stickers and bright scenes get children making up their own dinosaur stories.

The themed scenes are a fun way to learn about dinosaurs and their habitats, while working on creativity and fine motor skills.

The illustrations and the felt

The scenes are bold and dynamic, with detailed prehistoric landscapes and creatures in vibrant colours.

The felt stickers add a touch-and-feel element, so children can move pieces around easily and bring their creations to life.

Felt Stickers Dinosaur Play Scene Book for kids: skills it builds

It is an activity book for young children. The large format and sturdy pages are easy for small hands, and the felt stickers are durable and reusable, so it gives hours of play, alone or with friends.

• Fine motor skills and spatial awareness: picking up and placing the stickers.
• Science and natural history: learning about dinosaurs, their habitats and the prehistoric world.
• Imagination and storytelling: the open-ended scenes let children invent their own adventures.

Travel tip Because the felt stickers are reusable, this is a good book to keep in the car or travel bag. Ask your child to "tell you the story" of each scene they build.
