Question 1

What is Bibliophiles?

Accepted Answer

Bibliophiles is an Indian brand of personalised products for children — waterproof name labels, book labels, clothes stickers, bag & luggage tags, stainless-steel water bottles, bento lunch boxes, books and gifts. Everything is designed to help parents keep kids' belongings organised while adding a personal touch, and is delivered pan-India.

Question 2

Why should I shop from Bibliophiles?

Accepted Answer

Because you get durable, kid-safe, genuinely personalised products with free name personalisation, free shipping on orders over ₹399 and pan-India delivery. Our designs are child-friendly, waterproof where it matters, and trusted by thousands of parents and India's leading media.

Question 3

What makes Bibliophiles labels and products different?

Accepted Answer

Our products are built for real school life: labels are laminated and truly waterproof, bottles are food-grade stainless steel, and every design comes in a wide range of kid-loved themes (unicorns, dinosaurs, cars, ballerinas and more). You personalise most items with your child's name for free, so your child heads to school with gear that's unmistakably theirs.

Question 4

Where is Bibliophiles based?

Accepted Answer

We are based in Mumbai, India — 1C Karekar Building, Bal Govindas Marg, Mahim, Mumbai 400016 — and ship across India. For queries, message us on WhatsApp at +91 8779654469 (messages only).

Question 5

Is Bibliophiles a trusted brand?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bibliophiles has been featured in Times of India, Hindustan Times, YourStory, Mid-Day, The CEO Magazine, The Champa Tree and more, and is trusted by thousands of Indian parents.

Question 6

Do you deliver all over India?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we offer pan-India delivery to virtually every serviceable pincode, including metros, tier-2/3 towns and most remote areas. Enter your pincode at checkout to confirm serviceability.

Question 7

What are the benefits of personalised products for kids?

Accepted Answer

Personalised products reduce lost belongings, make sharing spaces (school, daycare, buses) easier, give children a sense of ownership and pride, and speed up identification for teachers and parents. Name labels and bag tags in particular dramatically cut down on mix-ups and replacements.

Question 8

What is the story behind Bibliophiles?

Accepted Answer

Bibliophiles started from a love of reading and children's books, and from a very ordinary parenting frustration — school bottles, books and lunch boxes constantly going missing or getting mixed up. The founders set out to solve it with beautifully designed, durable, personalised labels and essentials, and grew it into a full range of kid-friendly products and a curated children's bookstore.

Question 9

What does the name Bibliophiles mean?

Accepted Answer

A bibliophile is a lover of books. The name reflects our roots as a children's book-loving brand — which is why, alongside labels and school essentials, we curate and review a large collection of children's books.

Question 10

What is Bibliophiles' mission?

Accepted Answer

To help families keep children's belongings organised and safe, encourage a lifelong love of reading, and make everyday school items feel special through thoughtful personalisation and playful design.

Question 11

What is Zootii?

Accepted Answer

Zootii is Bibliophiles' in-house range of character designs for kids — a friendly cast of animals and themes that runs across our personalised water bottles, labels, bag tags and lunch boxes, so children can pick a character they love and carry it across all their school gear.

Question 12

Which Zootii characters and themes are available?

Accepted Answer

Popular Zootii themes include Unicorn, Colourful Unicorn, Wild Tiger, Zebra, Cute Bunny, Puppies, Kitty Cats, Swans, Ballerina, Strawberry Girls, Princess, Race Car, Planes, Space and Mermaid — with new designs added regularly.

Question 13

Can I get the same Zootii character on my child's bottle, labels and bag tag?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, yes. Many Zootii themes (like Unicorn, Kitty Cats, Puppies and Ballerina) appear across water bottles, labels, book labels, clothes stickers and lunch boxes, so you can build a matching, coordinated set your child will recognise instantly.

Question 14

Are Zootii designs suitable for both boys and girls?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Zootii spans gender-neutral and themed designs — from planes, cars, dinosaurs and tigers to unicorns, ballerinas and strawberry girls — so there's a character for every child's taste.

Question 15

What types of products does Bibliophiles sell?

Accepted Answer

We sell personalised name labels (waterproof & transparent), book labels, clothes/uniform stickers, bag & luggage tags, stainless-steel water bottles, bento lunch boxes, school bags, allergy labels, gift tag stickers, iron-on patches, handkerchiefs, back-to-school combos, and a large range of children's books.

Question 16

What are your best products for back to school?

Accepted Answer

Our back-to-school heroes are waterproof name labels, book labels, clothes/uniform stickers, bag tags, a personalised steel water bottle and a bento lunch box — often bought together as a Back to School combo so everything is labelled and ready before day one.

Question 17

Do you sell back-to-school combos or bundles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Back to School and Bundles combos pack transparent labels, bag tags, cloth labels and book labels together in matching themes (Rainbow, Planes, Zootii and more) — a one-click way to label everything your child owns.

Question 18

Do you sell books, and what kind?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Bibliophiles curates a wide range of children's books: picture storybooks, activity and sticker books, phonics readers, preschool writing/handwriting books, classic fairy tales, and Shloka/Sanskrit and Indian-culture books.

Question 19

What are name labels?

Accepted Answer

Name labels are small personalised stickers or tags printed with your child's name, used to mark their belongings — bottles, books, lunch boxes, stationery, clothes and school supplies — so items are easy to identify and hard to lose.

Question 20

Why are name labels important for school?

Accepted Answer

Schools are full of identical bottles, boxes and uniforms. Name labels prevent mix-ups and lost property, help teachers return items quickly, and save parents money on constant replacements.

Question 21

Are your waterproof name labels really waterproof?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our waterproof labels are printed and laminated so they resist water, washing, wiping and daily handling — ideal for water bottles, lunch boxes and items that get cleaned often.

Question 22

Can the labels survive washing?

Accepted Answer

Our waterproof stick-on labels are made to handle mild washes and everyday cleaning when applied correctly to clean, dry surfaces. For the longest life we recommend gentle hand-washing rather than the dishwasher. Iron-on clothing labels are designed to survive regular machine washing on uniforms and clothes.

Question 23

How long do waterproof labels last?

Accepted Answer

With correct application on a clean, dry surface, our waterproof labels are built to last through a full school year (and typically well beyond) of daily use, washing and wiping.

Question 24

Do waterproof labels peel off or leave residue?

Accepted Answer

When applied properly they stay put and don't peel with normal use. They can be removed cleanly later; any minor residue wipes off easily. Always apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface for the strongest bond.

Question 25

How do I remove waterproof labels?

Accepted Answer

Peel from a corner; if needed, warm the label slightly (e.g. with a hair dryer) to soften the adhesive, then peel and wipe away any residue with a little soapy water or mild adhesive remover.

Question 26

What are transparent name labels?

Accepted Answer

Transparent labels are see-through personalised stickers that blend into the surface, so the name is visible but the label is discreet. They look neat on bottles, boxes, books and stationery.

Question 27

What are book labels and why label school books?

Accepted Answer

Book labels are personalised name stickers designed for the covers or inside pages of school books and notebooks. Labelling books prevents them being lost or swapped, and helps teachers return them to the right child.

Question 28

How do I stick book labels and will they damage books?

Accepted Answer

Peel and press firmly onto a clean, dry cover or inside page. Our book labels are designed to stick securely without tearing pages, and to be removed later without damaging the book.

Question 29

What are clothes / uniform stickers, and do they work on uniforms?

Accepted Answer

Clothes stickers (and iron-on cloth labels) are personalised labels made to stay on fabric — perfect for school uniforms, PE kits, jackets and socks. They're built to survive regular washing.

Question 30

What is the difference between iron-on labels and stick-on labels?

Accepted Answer

Iron-on labels are heat-applied and best for fabric/clothing because they bond through the wash; stick-on labels use adhesive and are best for hard surfaces like bottles, boxes, books and stationery. For uniforms choose iron-on or clothes stickers; for gear choose waterproof stick-on labels.

Question 31

What are allergy labels?

Accepted Answer

Allergy labels are high-visibility personalised labels that flag a child's allergy (e.g. nut allergy) on bottles, lunch boxes and bags, so teachers and carers can spot it instantly.

Question 32

Which school items should have name labels?

Accepted Answer

Bottles, lunch boxes, books and notebooks, stationery and pencil cases, school bags, uniforms and jackets, shoes, and any gear that leaves the house. Our mix packs are designed to cover all of these in one go.

Question 33

Which name labels are best for school?

Accepted Answer

For most families a mix pack of waterproof/transparent labels covers bottles, boxes, books and stationery, plus clothes stickers or iron-on labels for uniforms.

Question 34

Are personalised name labels worth buying?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — a small one-time spend on durable labels typically saves far more on replacing lost bottles, boxes, books and uniforms over a school year, and saves you the daily hassle of tracking down missing items.

Question 35

What are luggage tags / bag tags?

Accepted Answer

Bag tags (luggage tags) are personalised name tags that attach to school bags, backpacks and travel luggage so they're easy to spot and identify.

Question 36

Why do kids need bag tags?

Accepted Answer

Because school bags and backpacks often look alike. A personalised bag tag helps a child instantly recognise their own bag, reduces mix-ups on buses and in cloakrooms, and improves safety by making bags easy to identify.

Question 37

Which bag tags are waterproof and durable?

Accepted Answer

Our transparent and shape luggage tags are made from durable, water-resistant acrylic-style material built to handle daily school use, rain and rough handling.

Question 38

Are acrylic luggage tags durable?

Accepted Answer

Yes — acrylic-style tags are tough, water-resistant and resist cracking and fading far better than paper or laminated card, making them ideal for everyday school and travel use.

Question 39

How do I attach a luggage tag?

Accepted Answer

Most tags come with a secure loop, strap or ring — simply thread it through a zip pull, handle or strap on the bag and fasten. Writable tags let you fill in details; personalised tags come pre-printed with the name.

Question 40

How do I personalise a bag tag?

Accepted Answer

Add your child's name (and design/theme) on the product page before adding to cart. For writable bag tags you can also add details like class or contact info by hand.

Question 41

Which bag tags are best for school bags?

Accepted Answer

Shape and transparent luggage tags are the most popular for school bags — they're lightweight, durable, easy to attach and come in kid-loved designs (unicorn, cars, dinosaur, tiger and more).

Question 42

What is the best water bottle for kids for school?

Accepted Answer

A personalised stainless-steel bottle is the best all-round choice for school — it's safe, durable, leak-resistant and easy to identify with your child's name.

Question 43

Are stainless-steel bottles better than plastic?

Accepted Answer

Yes for most families. Stainless steel is more durable, doesn't retain odours or stains, is free of plastic chemicals like BPA, and is more eco-friendly and long-lasting than disposable or cheap plastic bottles.

Question 44

Is a BPA-free bottle important, and are your bottles BPA-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, BPA-free matters for children's health, and our stainless-steel water bottles are BPA-free. Steel bottles avoid the plastic chemicals of concern found in some plastic bottles.

Question 45

Is stainless steel safe for kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes — food-grade stainless steel is one of the safest materials for children's drinkware: non-toxic, BPA-free, rust-resistant and easy to clean, with no plastic taste or leaching.

Question 46

What size water bottle is best for kids?

Accepted Answer

For younger children a lighter, smaller bottle (roughly 350–500 ml) is easiest to carry and drink from; older kids do well with 500–750 ml. Choose a size your child can lift and open independently.

Question 47

Are your bottles leakproof?

Accepted Answer

Our bottles are designed with secure, leak-resistant lids to minimise spills in school bags. Always close the lid fully and keep the bottle upright for best results.

Question 48

How do I clean a stainless-steel bottle?

Accepted Answer

Wash with warm soapy water and a bottle brush after each use, rinse well and air-dry with the lid off. For a deeper clean, soak with a little baking soda or vinegar solution occasionally. Avoid harsh abrasives on printed designs.

Question 49

Can kids use insulated bottles, and do they keep drinks hot and cold?

Accepted Answer

Insulated (double-wall) bottles are great for kids and keep drinks cold or warm for hours, so water stays fresh through the school day. They're safe and easy for children to use with the right size and lid.

Question 50

What is a bento lunch box?

Accepted Answer

A bento lunch box is a lunch box with built-in compartments that keep different foods separate — so a meal, snacks, fruit and a treat stay organised and don't mix.

Question 51

What makes a bento lunch box different / why use one?

Accepted Answer

Compartments encourage balanced, portion-controlled meals, keep food fresh and un-soggy, reduce waste, and make lunch more appealing to kids.

Question 52

Which bento lunch box is best for kids?

Accepted Answer

Look for the right number of compartments, a secure/leak-resistant lid, easy-open latches for little hands and a durable, easy-clean build. Our premium bento boxes come in Zootii themes like Kitty Cats, Puppies, Princess and Tiger.

Question 53

Are bento lunch boxes leakproof?

Accepted Answer

Our bento boxes are designed with secure lids to keep meals contained; for anything runny, use a leak-resistant compartment and close the lid fully. Pack drier items in the outer sections for best results.

Question 54

How do I clean a bento lunch box?

Accepted Answer

Wash with warm soapy water after each use and dry fully. We recommend gentle hand-washing rather than the dishwasher, and avoid the microwave — this keeps the print, lids and seals looking their best for much longer.

Question 55

What are some healthy bento lunch box ideas?

Accepted Answer

Balance a grain, a protein, a fruit and a veggie across the compartments, add a small treat, and keep wet and dry foods apart.

Question 56

What makes a good school bag for kids?

Accepted Answer

A good school bag is lightweight, ergonomic (padded, adjustable straps and a supportive back), the right size for your child, water-resistant and durable, with enough compartments to stay organised.

Question 57

What size school bag is best, and how do I choose one for preschool?

Accepted Answer

Choose a bag proportionate to your child's back — for preschoolers a small, light bag that sits between the shoulders and waist is ideal. Prioritise light weight, easy zips, padded straps and a design your child loves.

Question 58

What school essentials should I personalise?

Accepted Answer

At minimum: water bottle, lunch box, books/notebooks, bag and uniform. Personalising these covers the items most often lost or mixed up.

Question 59

What are personalised gifts?

Accepted Answer

Personalised gifts are products customised with a child's name (and often a chosen theme), making an everyday item feel special and one-of-a-kind.

Question 60

What are the best personalised gifts for kids?

Accepted Answer

Popular choices are personalised water bottles, bento lunch boxes, name-label packs, bag tags and gift-tag stickers — useful items kids use daily.

Question 61

Why are personalised gifts special?

Accepted Answer

They show thought and effort, give the child a sense of ownership, are practical rather than disposable, and stand out from generic presents — which is why they're increasingly popular for birthdays and return favours.

Question 62

Do you offer return gifts for kids' parties?

Accepted Answer

Yes — personalised gift-tag stickers, name-label packs, bag tags and small useful items make excellent, memorable return favours, and we offer bulk-friendly options.

Question 63

Can I personalise any gift, and can gifts be delivered across India?

Accepted Answer

Most of our products support free name personalisation, and yes — personalised gifts are delivered pan-India. Add the name on the product page before checkout.

Question 64

Do you offer gift hampers or gift boxes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ready-to-gift bundles and hampers combine several personalised items in matching themes, ideal for birthdays and festive gifting.
