Two matching hair clips and one bag charm, all spelling the same name, plus a lucky poodle or headphones that comes along for free. The whole set sorted in one order.
Type the name exactly as you want it spelled, up to 5 characters. All three pieces are made with that name, in the order you type it.
What arrives in the pack
A pair of lined snap clips, one for each side of her head. Both carry the same name, so she can wear them together or one at a time.
Chunky jelly letter charms strung in order on a soft cord, finished with beads and a lobster clip so it goes onto a bag, zip or pencil case in one click.
A little poodle or headphones charm rides along at the end of the bag charm, sent as per availability. Nobody has to ask for it, it is already in there.
The hair clips are decorative, not sturdy everyday hardware. Each alphabet is fixed onto the clip by hand, and the letters can loosen, fall off or break if the clip is pulled, twisted, bent, chewed, sat on, or handled roughly. The same goes for the bag charm if it is yanked or chewed.
Please take the clips off before rough play. Sports, swimming, wrestling with siblings, sleeping and anything that involves the clip being tugged at will shorten their life. Worn gently and stored on the card they arrive on, they last a long time.
Items damaged in use are not eligible for replacement, refund or exchange. Please order only if this is acceptable to you.
Colours are assorted and sent as per availability. Every piece is made by hand from the pastel stock we have on the day your order is made. The character colours, bead colours, clip colours and the colour of the poodle or headphones will therefore differ from the photographs, and we are unable to accept requests for specific colours or for a particular colour sequence.
The three pieces are not colour matched to each other. The clips and the bag charm are made as a set, but the same letter can come out in a different shade on each piece. All three always spell the name exactly as you typed it.
The lucky charm is a poodle or a headphones, whichever is in stock. One of the two is always included, but which one you receive depends on availability on the day your order is made, and we cannot take requests for a particular design.
Orders are not eligible for return or exchange on the grounds of colour or of which lucky charm arrives, as no two sets come out the same.

Questions before you order
What exactly comes in the combo?
Three pieces. Two hair clips, each with the name spelled along it, and one bag charm with the same name strung on a cord, finished with a lobster clip. A lucky poodle or headphones charm comes on the bag charm at no extra cost.
Can the clips and the bag charm have different names?
No, all three pieces carry the same name. If you are ordering for two children, add two combos to your cart and type each name in its own box.
How many characters can I have?
Up to 5, including spaces, so that the same name fits on the clips as well as the charm. That covers most short names and nicknames. If her full name is longer, use the short version she is actually called by, or her initials.
Can I have a longer name on the bag charm?
The bag charm can hold up to 8 characters on its own. If you want the longer spelling there, mention it in the personalisation box along with the 5 character version for the clips, and we will make it that way. Left blank, all three pieces carry the same 5 characters.
Will the clips and the charm match in colour?
They will all sit in the same pastel family, but they are not colour matched piece by piece. The same letter can come out in a different shade on a clip and on the charm, because each one is strung by hand from whatever is in stock that day.
Can I choose the exact colours?
Not colour by colour, no. Characters are sent assorted from our pastel range, picked from whatever is in stock the day yours is made. The shades will sit in the family you see in the photos, but the exact mix will be its own.
Will I get the poodle or the headphones?
Whichever is in stock on the day your set is made. One lucky charm is always included, but we cannot promise which of the two it will be, or what colour it comes in, and requests for a particular design cannot be accepted.
Is the lucky charm charged extra?
No. The poodle or headphones comes with the combo at no extra cost. Nothing to add to your cart, nothing extra to pay.
How delicate are the clips?
Delicate enough that they need looking after. The alphabets are fixed on by hand, so pulling, twisting, chewing or rough play can make a letter come loose or break. Worn gently, they hold up beautifully. Think of them as a party shoe rather than a school shoe.
What if an alphabet falls off or breaks?
Damage from use is not covered, so we are unable to replace, refund or exchange pieces whose letters have come off or broken. Please handle them gently and take the clips off before rough play, sports and sleep.
Will the clips stay put in fine or slippery hair?
Yes. The clips are lined so they grip rather than slide, and each one is light enough that it does not drag a small section of hair down. For very fine hair, clipping over a small twist of hair holds best.
How do I look after the set?
Handle everything gently, open and close the clips rather than tugging them out of the hair, and wipe with a dry cloth. Keep it all out of water, so no pool and no shower, and store the clips on the card they arrive on so nothing gets knocked about in a drawer.
Are they safe for little ones?
Edges are smooth, but the alphabets and beads are small pieces that can come off if pulled or chewed, so we recommend grown up supervision for children under 3, and no wearing the clips at bedtime.
